Actually High School Lacrosse Team Aces Hidden Ball Trick

The age-old hidden ball trick — it’s used in Major League Baseball occasionally, the play where you can feel like a kid again. The ultimate ‘Gotcha!,’ when an unsuspecting baserunner falls prey to a tag by an infielder, who sneakily has the baseball hidden in his glove.

However, a high school lacrosse team just created its own version, and it’s dizzying to watch.

And that, the boys’ lacrosse team from Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School in Missouri pulled off the trickery by huddling in a group and passing the ball off to a teammate, who scored a goal after the players on Parkway West were unable to decipher just which Rams player had received the ball.

If there’s any consolation for the opposition, even though, Perhaps they’ll be prepared for the next time. Perhaps.
